Walgreens Macadamia Nuts Review

walgreens macadamia nutsThis is a review of Walgreens Macadamia Nuts.

Walgreens is a midwest based national drug store chain. They sell pretty much everything in an easy to navigate store. One of the great things they sell are snacks. Tons of them. One of the better deals they offer are bags of macadamia nuts.

Mauna Loa Macadamia Nuts, Roasted, Unsalted, 4.5-Ounce Cans (Pack of 6)

The funny things about the macadamia nuts is that they used to sell 2.25 ounces for .99 cents, but they have bumped that down to 1.25 ounces for .99 cents. It is still a pretty good deal, though they aren’t in the nuts section. You’ll find the small snack packs near the jerky.

The nuts are delicious and hit the spot. The calories come in at 250 for the whole bag, so it is a very filling snack.

The funny thing is that the back of the package includes the place of origin for the nuts. The one I purchased says:

PRODUCT OF: AUSTRALIA, SOUTH AFRICA, BRAZIL, USA

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a food product labeled like this. My assumption is that the nuts are purchased on the open market from many supplies then delivered together. The manufacturer isn’t listed, but Walgreens is the distributor.

If you’re in the mood for a healthy snack and need it asap, stop by Walgreens and grab some macadamia nuts.
