This is a review of Flents Quiet Time Ear Plugs.
Ever since the arrival of our daughter, sleep has become a precious commodity. To help assure a blissful night, of which you should get 7-8 hours, I use ear plugs. I don’t remember when I started using them, but I do know that I have a very tough time getting to sleep without them.
The brand I use is called Flents and they are available from Walmart in a 40 pack. I think the recession is getting to them since you can get a pack of 50 on Amazon for the same price. Anyway, they come in purple and are basically cone shaped foam you twist up and stick in your ear. Not exactly rocket science.
They have an NRR of 33 decibels, but I know you have no idea what NRR means. I didn’t either. NRR is Noise Reduction Rating, which means it prevents sound from affecting you. Now, I have never stuck 33 decibels up to my ear to see if they work or not, which is the equivalent to a library.
What I can tell you is that these work for sleeping. You won’t hear the person next to you nor will you hear ambient noise outside. What you will hear, and what takes some getting used to, is your breathing and heart beat.
If you are the type of person that needs quiet when you sleep, run out and buy these today. You will sleep so much better!
