Smucker’s is known for their delicious jams and jellies, but when you eat low carb you need to watch the amount of sugar, and yes, carbs. Smucker’s has a great variety of sugar free jellies and jams to choose from.
As a slight aside, jelly comes from fruit juice, while jam comes from fruit pieces and parts.
Smucker’s offers the same flavors, same sugar free goodness, sweetened with either nutrasweet or splenda. The jam reviewed here was sweetened with splenda. No, I don’t know why they offer two different sweeteners.
The concord grape jam is delicious and firm. It is sweet, spread evenly and doesn’t turn to water in the jar. I’ve tried it on low carb bread, biscuits and even a dab on sugar free ice cream; on each it was delicious and hit the spot.
