Dixie Diners is known for making a great selection of low carb products. I have no idea how they do it, but they find great ways to bring traditional fare into the low carb realm. Secretly, I don’t want to know in case it is not real.
They have a great mashed potato substitute called Instant Mashers. We tried the Cheddar and Bacon flavor and loved them. Instant Mashers do contain potatoes, but they are mostly soy.
Simple to make, the Instant Mashers only require a cup of water, two tablespoons of butter and a 1/4 of cream.
