Beanitos Cheddar Cheese Pinto Bean Flax Chips Review

This is a review of Beanitos Pinto Bean and Flax Chips Cheddar Cheese.

Chips rock, especially when they are healthy. Beanitos created a chip that combines pinto beans and flax into something that is delicious.

When you think of alternative chips you think bland, pasty and dumpy. Beanitos are the opposite of that and actually bring something new to the table. They bring a crispness, firmness and taste that won’t disappoint you.

The Good

There are three things you’ll like about Beanitos:

Protein – Each service has 4 grams compared to normal chips with 1 gram.

Pop Tarts 2012 Team USA Limited Edition Review

This is a review of Pop Tarts 2012 Team USA Limited Edition.

Pop Tarts rock and from time to time they release limited editions. These are special one-off flavors or types they release to celebrate events. In this case, the special edition is to celebrate the 2012 Olympics, specifically Team USA.

They made a few changes to tweak a normal Pop Tart:

Gold foil – The Pop Tarts are wrapped in gold foil instead of silver.

Crust change – The crust changed since they decided to bake fruit directly into the crust.

Atkins Advantage Caramel Chocolate Nut Roll Review

This is a review of Atkins Advantage Caramel Chocolate Nut Roll.

Atkins usually does a good job with their bars, snacks and food. This isn’t the case with the Caramel Chocolate Nut Roll. It’s a shame since the normal Nut Roll is delicious.

Someone from marketing through it would be cool to take chocolate and add it to the nut roll. By add it, I mean dunk it in chocolate. There are a few problems resulting from this:

The chocolate isn’t tasty. I know, it’s supposed to be low carb, but man, the chocolate just tastes off.

Review of Schnucks Cream Cheese Original

This is a review of Schnucks Cream Cheese Original.

Schnucks is the local full service grocery store in the St. Louis area. They are regional, but most of their stores are located in metropolitan St. Louis.

They offer a range of house brand products just like any grocery store, but they actually take the quality of their products seriously through a wide range of testing.

Their cream cheese comes in a tub for spreading just like Kraft offers. They only have one “flavor” and that is cream cheese. Other companies offer strawberry, honey, etc. Schnucks just offers the one flavor.

Review of Stouffer’s Turkey Tetrazzini

This is a review of Stouffer’s Turkey Tetrazzini.

Growing up the treat for movie night was Stouffer’s the red box meant it was time to have fun and enjoy a good meal. Throughout the years I’ve wondered between frozen meals, but always come back to Stouffer’s as the quick and easy comfort food you sometimes need.

You can roll through all the great meals they have, but for me the perfect one is Turkey Tetrazzini, a Signature Classic. For some reason the online dictionary doesn’t recognize the word Tetrazzini, which is a shame. It is a meal created for a famous opera singer and can be made with many types of meat. Stouffer’s uses white meat turkey in theirs.
