This is a review of Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon in Bridgeton, Missouri.
Lone Star is a national steakhouse chain that specializes in Texas type food. They are affordably priced and feature bar service.
In the last few weeks I’ve placed a couple of large orders to go and wanted to share what I found:
Food quality is high – The quality of the food is high. The steaks were cooked well and the salads had no spoilage at all. Even the fried foods weren’t weighed down by extra grease.

This is a review of the Chesterfield, MO PF Changs.
I have only been to PF Changs several times, maybe four. The first two times I didn’t really think anything special of it. In fact, I was a little disappointed. Only recently has my opinion changed.
Why the change? Well, they changed their menu and increased their focus on customer service. My last two trips have been fantastic and extremely enjoyable.
PF Changs is touted as a Chinese bistro, but we all joke it is a fancier Chinese restaurant. They feature full service bars, but the two things I enjoy the most are the value and ambiance.
This is a review of the McDonalds located in Bridgeton, MO.
It may seem odd reviewing a McDonalds, but when you visit a specific one as often as I do, it is worth taking a look at.
I believe this McDonalds is franchise owned and it shows. The owners appear to be actively engaged and the crew seems motivated to provide good customer service.
The store is almost always clean. There are only a couple of times where I’ve noticed it wasn’t perfect and that was during a lunch rush.
This is a review of Steak and Rice in Kirkwood, Missouri.
Chinese food is a rare indulgence for us, so when we go for it we like it to be good. Steak and Rice in Kirkwood, MO is housed in a former Hardees building at the corner of Big Bend and Kirkwood Road.
We don’t usually eat inside the restaurant, but it is pleasantly decorated. Our latest trip was a carry out, so we could enjoy a movie at home.
This is a review of Chuck E. Cheese’s Ellisville, MO.
This is a new one for me, reviewing a restaurant. Our daughter recently turned three years old. The plan was to have a picnic in a local park, but that didn’t work out due to a rain forecast. We decided to go somewhere indoors, but we wanted something kids and adults would enjoy. We decided on Chuck E. Cheese’s in Ellisville, MO.
